Kathy Schroeder

​​Kathy has been on the staff of RDA since 1989. She serves as our head ballet instructor, as well as teaching/choreographing the dance disciplines of tap and jazz. Kathy is one of our coaches for our award winning competitive All Star program in which she also serves as a head-choreographer. During her years coaching she has won many National titles with our teams including, Tiny, Mini, Youth, Junior and Senior teams.  
Kathy started her studio training at the age of 3 and trained with various programs in the area including the Louisville Ballet School and with the Ball State University Ballet Company. She began her teaching experiences at the young age of 14 and has taught at studios in Alabama and Indiana. She served as choreographer for several musicals including “Oklahoma”, “South Pacific”, and “Pippin”. She graduated from Indiana University Southeast.
She is married to Mark Schroeder and they have three children, Alison, Devin and Trent. Kathy is now a grandma to a grandson Windsor.
